TEMPERAMENT TESTED: This dog has passed a good-temperament test by a professional animal behaviorist. For example, this dog let us put our hands in its food bowl, handle it all over (ears, tail, feet, belly, head, butt), we put our hands in its mouth, took toys & rawhides right out of its mouth, let it play freely with a pack of dogs, let it meet barn animals, and introduced it to children. This dog was completely friendly and did not shy, snarl, snap or bite during any of the testing exercises. Fewer than 10% of the dogs that we evaluate actually pass the test and make it into our rescue program.
